
JON CONWAY was the co-founder of QDOS ENTERTAINMENT group over twenty years ago, helping steer it to be one of the UK’S major light entertainment companies. In his role as creative director, he produced over 400 pantomimes and devised shows for BBC TV, Celebrity cruise lines, Las Vegas showrooms, and concert tours all over the world. At one time Jon headed the company’s talent agency, not to mention being a director of HQ theatres.
Jon has been joined in the company by his son the actor and comedian JORDAN CONWAY. Whilst Jon’s main focus is as chairman of Worlds Biggest Productions, Jordan is developing the CRAZY COMEDY COMPANY for both live action and tv. Together they are producing the new West End comedy play LAUREL AND CHAPLIN – THE FEUD after its successful premiere at Edinburgh Festival. They also have plans for an intriguing feature film called ‘LEVITATE’
Recent productions include Jon’s ground-breaking bombshell play ‘TRUTH LIES DIANA’ had a West End season following an off-Broadway premiere and a revival of ‘BOOGIE NIGHTS- THE 70’S MUSICAL’ for a long summer season in Blackpool.
After Jon and Jordan set up ONEWAY FILMS, their first short film GRIMALDI won best film at festivals in Los Angeles, London, and Italy. Their first feature LAST NIGHT A DJ SAVED MY LIFE starring DAVID HASSELHOFF was aired on AXS cable network in the USA.
Jon developed a dozen spectacular cruise line shows for Qdos on Celebrity Cruise lines and continues to develop new formats across the globe for clients such as Ministry Of Sound, Eclipse Films and Shanghai and Los Angeles based company’s ILLUMINASIA exhibition, a stunning visitor attraction resident in Blackpool for 3 years.
His ground breaking new play, TRUTH, LIES, DIANA had a two month season in London’s West End 2015, following an off Broadway try out.
