Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Jon Conway Productions (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect

We only collect personal information you choose to send us. When you use one of our contact forms, we collect your name, email address, subject and message.

We don’t sell tickets on this website. When you book tickets for one of our shows, you do so through the ticketing company or venue named on the booking page, and their own privacy policy applies.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We don’t add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them, and no longer than two years unless an ongoing business relationship means we need to keep them longer.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn’t set any cookies unless you agree. If you click “Accept” on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. If you click “Reject”, it doesn’t load.

You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Videos on this site are hosted by YouTube. They only load when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once a video is playing, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.

How we protect it

The website is served over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). Messages sent through our forms are stored privately on our server, where only authorised people can access them.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. To make a request, please use our contact form.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
